Barge for Rock Transport

We are nearing the completion of a long-term charter of a 100 x 25m flattop barge (abt 10,000 DWT) used on a breakwater renovation project in the Baltic. The barge was fitted with deck protection, stanchions and sidewalls for the operation.

The project comprised of two phases. Phase 1 strengthened the existing southern and northern breakwaters without changing their configuration.

In order to achieve this, both breakwaters were raised, and retaining walls were installed in some of the hydraulic structures.

Phase two calls for the deepening of the shipping channel to a depth of 17 meters. This will make the port accessible to the largest ships that can enter the Baltic Sea.

Exciting Addition: MST Workboats Acquires 2007 DAMEN 1204 Pushy Cat

We are pleased to announce the successful sale of a 2007 DAMEN-built 1204 Pushy Cat to MST Workboats in the UK. The vessel, previously supporting the Royal Navy under a UK Ministry of Defence service contract, will undergo dry docking, classification renewal, and a repaint in MST Workboats’ colors. This marks their third Damen-built vessel and sixth Dutch-built addition, further enhancing their fleet of barges, pontoons, and UK-built workboats.
