Efficient Power Transformer Delivery
We supported our customer with RoRo Barge towage to Ireland as well as local operations in connection with the arrival of a new power transformer for the Moneypoint power station..
The cargo ship carrying the power transformer arrived at the port of Foynes. The transformer was unloaded onto a RoRo barge.
The barge was subsequently transferred to the Moneypoint power facility where it was beached on the next high tide.
The transformer was subsequently transferred from the barge to dry land at Moneypoint and finally to the substation.
