Alusafe FRC Ready for Action!
We have successfully sold this 2004 Alusafe-built FRC (Fast Rescue Craft) to a valued repeat customer. The vessel will serve as a safety and rescue craft aboard a jack-up unit. Following a fresh repaint and minor repairs, she will be transported to the UK. The sale also included a dedicated trailer and cradle.
This 8.15-meter aluminum-hulled vessel, with a beam of 2.70 meters and a draft of just 0.45 meters, is designed for maximum efficiency and performance. Built to SOLAS standards, she features a single Yanmar 4LHA engine producing 177 kW (240 hp) and a Hamilton waterjet, enabling a top speed of 38.1 knots with three persons aboard and an endurance of 125 nautical miles at cruising speed.
Transport and customs formalities were also seamlessly managed by us and our trusted partners.
