Designed and built in the Netherlands, this vessel is highly maneuverable, and due to her unique design she can be split in two (each section weighs abt 29 Tons) and transported by road as the vessel is made up of 2 x 2.5 metre wide pontoons which, when joined together, the beam is some in height if required by inserting a taller pedestal.
She was designed to carry out a wide range of duties including anchor handling, towing, pushing, surveying and seabed leveling, transporting deck cargo, are but a few of the permutations.
The raised wheelhouse offers the Master full 360° visibility, even when the deck has been loaded with cargo.
The 2002 refit included brand new engines and gear-boxes. The new engines along with carefully designed propellers have proven a valuable asset, as the vessel is gaining a rightful reputation of being very powerful vessel.
