Not entirely sure what she is doing Antwerp, but impossible to miss, the stylish (& lavish) super yacht Samar.

When Samar was commissioned, she represented the largest yacht to be built in the UK since Britannia was launched. On her uppermost deck, a helicopter is stowed aft, while a Jacuzzi that can accommodate a crowd is forward. Among our favorite features of hers are the leather-lined pedestal chairs that are positioned next to the spa pool. Even better, the chairs can recline, for the utmost in comfort while catching some rays (or relaxing in shade, thanks to a bimini that can cover the entire area). You can test one out yourself, as Samar entered the charter market for the first time last fall; her weekly rate is 650,000 euros (about $1.02 million at presstime).

The yacht provides accommodation for an Owners party of 12 (in 7 staterooms) with a crew of 26. The owner’s stateroom is independent on the main deck, there are two VIP cabins on the lower deck (one twin and one double), as well as 2 double cabins on lower deck, and one small double on the bridge deck.

She provides a wet dock in the aft garage for a 33’’ CrisCraft ridged hulled tender and there are four further tenders onboard. The helipad is designed to house a Bell 407 helicopter with refueling facilities, three Jet Skis and a MINI Cooper cabriolet.

Luxury yacht SAMAR is powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system consisting of three Wärtsilä 1,530-kW diesel generators and two 2,414-hp drive motors with twin fixed-pitch, five-bladed propellers. Combined, they provide the yacht’s top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
