The pontoon itself is made up of 2 main saddle pontoons with two more floatation tanks and a bridge that joins all together which gives a working deck area of 67 sq m. With 4 x 18m spud legs this allows it to work in depths of up to 14 metres. There are twin rams on each leg giving a stroke of 1.53 metres and this gives a payload of 12 tons. The hydraulics are worked by twin power packs which provides maximum reliability and rapid movement of the rams. The entire rig was totally refurbished in 2008 which saw both power packs totally overhauled, all hydraulics, shot blasted and painted, new handrails, decking etc. There are also 2 x 1m extensions which can be fitted onto the end of the rig to give extra deck space for working. The rig is currently unassembled.
