LC Volgo-Baltic Logistic (VBL), one of Russia’s biggest freight agencies, has signed an exclusive agreement with Dutch Heavy Lift shipping company Jumbo Shipping.

Jumbo Shipping has appointed VBL as its exclusive commercial agent for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Jumbo Shipping owns and operates a specialized fleet of heavy lift vessels. These vessels have shallow draft and crane capacities ranging from 500mt to 1800mt. Two of four J1800-class vessels are equipped with DP2, making them suitable not only for transportation but also for offshore installation in water depths in excess of 3,000 meters.

A key feature of their Huisman mast cranes is their large outreach: at 27,5 meters these cranes can lift 1800mt.
