The Jan De Nul Group has placed orders with Tianjin Xinhe Shipbuilding Heavy Industries Co.Ltd. in Tianjin, China for 8 new vessels:
?(TM)? One 3700 m3 Splithopper Dredger, similar to the De Bougainville which was delivered in 2006. The design of the dredger is based on the design of the 3700 m3 splitbarges: the vessel is provided with a suction pipe with submerged dredge pump. In comparison
with the De Bougainville, this dredger will additionally be equipped with a self-emptying installation with a 3000 kW shore discharging dredge pump. This hopper dredger will carry the name ?EURoeDe Lapérouse?EUR?.
?(TM)? Two 3700 m3 Splitbarges. These vessels are of the L?EUR(TM)Aigle class, of which 5 have already been built and delivered by the Shipyard. These two splitbarges will be named ?EURoeAstrolabe?EUR? and ?EURoeBoussole?EUR?.
?(TM)? Four 1800 m3 Splitbarges. These medium sized barges will be used with the large backhoe dredgers under construction for the Group. The vessels will be self-propelled, and have a ?EURoeDeep Sea?EUR? certificate, enabling worldwide operation in offshore conditions.
?(TM)? One Backhoe Dredger, with a Backacter 1100 crane. This vessel will be identical to the two backhoes under construction at the De Donge Shipyard in Vlissingen, Holland. With these orders the cooperation between Tianjin Xinhe Shipbuilding Heavy Industries Co.Ltd. and the Jan De Nul Group continues. Since 2003 Xinhe Shipyard has built and delivered 9 vessels (5 splitbarges, 1 splithopper, 2 cutter suction dredgers and 1 workboat). These vessels are now operating succesfully in the Jan De Nul Group fleet.

We are Pakistan based company involve in indenting , new shipbuilding and provisioning of armed forces defense equipment (Marine , Aviation and Military ) etc . We have attached our company profile as ready reference for your information .
Presently, we are having following urgent nature Marine Shipbuilding projects that included provisioning of new , used or under build vessels .
Project No 1
1. Provisioning of Sea going 65 Ton BP ASD Tug . ( Either New or under construction able to be completed with in 6 Months .
ASD Berthing Tug, :Static / Steady Bollard Pull-65 Metric Tons, multi-purpose as specified in (tolerance-/+ 5 %), B.P. Test Certificates should not be over four months old at the time of vessel delivery to PQA. Tug should be Ocean Going, capable of Deep-sea navigation in all weathers and sea conditions of Arabian Sea. Speed , 12 Knots (tolerance +/- 3%) at normal load and sea conditions.
Main Engines 2 Nos marine type , M.E should have sufficient rating to achieve to specified bollard pull (example. 2x2600 BHP) (Semi-Automatic type preferable) Caterpillar, Wartsilla, Cummins or other make of international manufacturer

2. Provisioning of Sea going Pilot Boat . ( Either New or under construction able to be completed with in 6 Months .
Length Overal:19 Meters to 24 Meters / Breadth :4.0 – 7.0 Meters /Draft : 1.5 – 3.0 Meters /Sea Speed : 20 knots (+/- 3%)

3. Provisioning of maximum 4 year used Backhoe Dredger along with 02 split Barges.
For S.No 1 and 2 project , we need to finalize all the arrangements by 10 Oct 2011.
For S.No 3 project , we need to finalize all the arrangements by 25 Oct 2011. The details of S.No 3 project are placed at the end of this mail and further details of all the projects are available on your interest.
We would prefer to work under some exclusive arrangements , However , we are open for discussion to secure the project in the best interest of all stake holders.

SPECIFICATION / DETAILS OF SPLIT / HOPPER BARGES
1. The main characteristics of the barge should remain within following parameters:
a. Dimensions
(1) Hopper capacity 500-600 m cubic
(2) Overall Length Commensurating with displacement
(3) Beam 8 – 10m or i.a.w displacement
(4) Draught Minimum possible w.r.t hopper capacity
(5) Full Load Displacement Commensurating with displacement
(6) Accommodation Spaces: As per the complement of the barges, with a single cabin and attached toilet for O I/C, separate accommodation and toilets for each officers, CPOs/Sailors.
b. Availability of the Platform. Barge shall be available for minimum of 80% of the time throughout its designed life of 20 years and all maintenances and refits shall be designed to allow such availability.
