UK offshore wind farms agreed
Plans for companies to build more offshore wind farms that would double the UK’s current wind energy capacity and power 1.4m homes were announced on Tuesday. The Crown Estate, which manages property for the exchequer, has approved the extension of seven offshore wind farm sites, with additional capacity totalling 2,000 megawatts.
